The value of pensions and the income they produce can rise as well as fall. You may get back less than you invested.

This website describes our Pension Tracing Service. We are not affiliated with the Government’s Pension Tracing Service and if you have come to our site by mistake you can find the UK Government’s Pension tracing service here:

Step 1: Complete and submit our online form

Before we can start finding your lost or unclaimed pensions, we need to know more information about you. Below is a form that should take no longer than 2 minutes to complete. Once completed, our pension tracing team will contact you to go through everything with you in more detail about the information you are looking for and to give you more information about us.

Step 2 - We complete and send through the documentation

Once we have spoken with you on the phone and gathered the necessary information, we complete all the required forms and send them out to you. Most important would be the Letter of Authority that allows us to speak with your providers on your behalf. Without a signed Letter of Authority we are unable to trace your pensions on your behalf.

Step 3 - Your signature is required to continue

We will send letters of authority to you either digitally by DocuSign or post. Some providers do not accept Docusign, in which case your Letter of Authorities will be posted to you.

You need to check the documentation and sign where required. If sent to you by post you will need to return the signed copies to us using our provided freepost envelope.

Step 4 - We request the information that you are looking for

We run through your returned paperwork to check for any errors before sending off to the providers so we can start the search to locate your lost or frozen pension. When checking the forms, we will also give you a courtesy call to tell you the progress of your pension trace. Please be advised that this process can take from 2 to 8+ weeks depending on the provider and the amount of information you can provide us, such as policy numbers or years of service.

Step 5 - We review the information and explain it to you

This part of the process can take quite a while as we have to chase the providers to send through all of the requested information. Once everything is received, your information will be passed across to one of our Qualified Financial Advisers who will call you to discuss the information and answer any questions you may have.
